As part of a month-long college project called Wall Call, 20 of us collaborated with Trespassers, a Kerala-based art collective known for vibrant murals that explore scale, perspective, and imagination. Guided by Ambady Kannan and Jinil Manikandan, we painted a hallway meant to offer the administrative staff a peaceful, nature-inspired space. Working with paints again was grounding, mixing colours by hand felt humbling after relying on digital tools. The scale of the wall gave me freedom to be intuitive and playful, allowing the work to evolve organically. It was a slow, collaborative process that reminded me of the joy in physical making. The project became less about perfection and more about staying present, responding to space, and enjoying the act of creating together.
